Meet Chris
Chris Dzadovsky has spent decades serving the people of St. Lucie County with integrity and vision. His career began with service as a small business owner, volunteer firefighter, and airline safety professional-experiences that gave him both a deep respect for community and a strong understanding of responsibility.
For the past sixteen years, Chris has served as a St. Lucie County Commissioner, where he guided the community through economic challenges, stabilized property values, and promoted sustainable growth. He worked to ensure the county remained financially strong while protecting vital services for residents.
Chris’s leadership has extended across numerous county boards, where he has been a consistent voice for public safety, environmental protection, and community development. His work includes:
-
Chairman of the Fire District and Environmental Control Board, ensuring safety and health protections for residents.
-
Chairman of the Tourist Development Council, where he brought new life to local tourism, secured Spring Training on the Treasure Coast, and oversaw the renovation of Clover Park.
-
Advocate for youth and families, leading efforts to reduce gang violence and helping St. Lucie become the nation’s first “Kids at Hope County,” dedicated to the belief that all children are capable of success-no exceptions.
Chris has also been a steadfast environmental advocate, working to secure water quality improvements for the Indian River Lagoon through projects like the C-23, C-24, and C-25 reservoirs. His dedication has been recognized with state and national awards for conservation and renewable energy leadership.
